FDA registered! Fit for the US market

After the amazing and successful Fancy Food Show in SF, we have filed to FDA in order to start catering the US market and our exquisite customers.

So the first official step is now done, we are entitle to share with all of you the Superior EVOO!
This exquisite product comes from olives grown on trees whose roots are more than 150 years old. They form the orchards that the Liberati Family has owned since the early 1700's in the Ciociaria region south of Rome.

The Superior EVOO is produced following the Organic/Bio charts with regular yearly test on the branches and the soil.

It is now up to you all to enhance your cooking experience with the flavours of History.

Fratelli LIBERATI Superior EVOO @ the FANCY FOOD SHOW

For the first time in history the Fratelli LIBERATI Superior Extra Virgin Olive Oil  ("Olive Oil with history") was introduced in the USA.


Thanks to Galia and Victoria, it integrated the large variety of products that All Gourmet presented at the FANCY FOOD SHOW in San Francisco, CA.

Superior Extra Virgin Olive Oil .... with History

In the heart of the Ciociaria, lays the medieval hill village of Boville Ernica. Dating back to pre- Roman times, Boville Ernica has a rich artistic and cultural history (cfr.: Il Simbolo), set in surroundings of natural beauty.


  
The area is characterized by olive grove covered hills, poetically described as ‘waves on a stormy sea’.


Historical records show that the Liberati family has been present in Boville Ernica since the late 16th Century, active in all areas of agriculture, from farming to olive oil production. Olive oil has been produced by the Liberati family ever since, receiving acknowledgments and recognitions, for its smooth, clean taste and organic qualities as far back as the 1700’s.

Today, the production of olive oil comes from 10 hectares of rocky orchards with olive trees  passing the century of age. 
 
The historical methods of cultivating the olives and cold press production of the oil are still used; the organic olives are milled in the winter, with the first stage of the pressing still being carried out on a stone mill. 
 Tradition meets 21st Century standards, as these original processes are refined by integrating and adhering to the Organic Food Regulations*, (European Community on Agriculture)  to create a high quality, organic, extra virgin olive oil that reflects the ancient sun drenched territory it originates from.
(* Yearly tests are carried out by the ICM ‘Instituto di Controllo Mediterraneo’ on the soil and trees to ensure the olive oil is an organic product)


The pressed oil is decanted and stored in the cellar located within the ancient family house, which still holds the old family mill.

Liberati Olive Oil has extremely low levels of acidity, which allow for the definition of “Superior Extra Virgin” to be applied. 

The Oil, which is produced in small batches and available via direct distribution only, has a rich smooth flavour which can be used to enhance salads and a variety of meat, fish and vegetable dishes. It also maintains its qualities at higher temperatures and so can be used for roasting and frying too.
